Regarding tax exemption policies

According to relevant policies such as the "Hainan Free Trade Port Yacht Industry Promotion Regulations" and the "Notice on the Zero Tariff" Policy for Transportation Vehicles and Yachts in Hainan Free Trade Port, purchasing imported yachts in Hainan enjoys the triple policy of "entry free guarantee", "zero tariff import", and "ship age import within five years". That is, import tariffs, import value-added tax, and consumption tax can be reduced, which can save about 38% of the cost of purchasing boats (35% for imported sailboats), and the age of imported boats can be relaxed to within five years. If a 10 million yuan sailboat is imported into Hainan, it will save nearly 3.5 million yuan in taxes and fees compared to other regions in China.

Domestic customers who purchase yachts and sailboats outside of Hainan Province can follow the "parallel import yacht" model to import yachts and sailboats, referring to the "parallel import automobile" model. Foreign brand yachts and sailboats can be imported into China, which is different from the duty-free model of Hainan Free Trade Port in that: 1. import and landing tax payment; 2. As long as it is within 12 months, it is considered as a new ship import. Ships that have been in use for more than 12 months are considered second-hand and cannot be imported into mainland areas outside of Hainan.
